Fax to Email
What exactly is fax to email? In simple terms when you register a fax to email service you are allocated a number, usually starting with 086, this is your fax number. When you register the service you are also asked for your email address, your email address and the number are now tied to each other. When people send you a fax using that number you will receive an email informing you that you have received a fax, that same email will have an attachment, that attachment will be your fax. The attachment will be an image, as most faxes are, and it can easily be viewed with "Windows Picture and Fax viewer". This is a standard program that is included with Windows on your PC. Alternatively you can choose to view the fax using PDF format this is set when you register. To view PDF files you need Adobe Acrobat Reader which is easy to obtain and free from Adobe themselves.

TIFF This is the graphics format used by all fax machines, as a fax is simply an image of the sent page, it can be viewed with the standard Windows image viewer, just double click on the attachment when you receive the fax email and it will open up in the viewer.
